Christmas in August

I bought this stamp "Christmas Tree" by Memory Box last year and decided to ink it up today and make a dozen Christmas cards. (I was also motivated by Darnell's NBUS challenge).  I made some the same and varied some of them.  The saying is by Stamp A Mania.  It feels good to get a little jump on Christmas card, I don't usually start early like this except for a few I make for challenges.  I also made a dozen of another design yesterday and will post those soon.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend that included a bit of stamping time!

Tropical Foxes

These darling foxes are this month's the digital stamp for Gerda Steiners progressive challenge.  I thought this would be a fun little scene.  I combined stamps from all different sets for this scene and the background papers are Down By The Shore by fancypantsdesign .

Sharing a quick and easy card I made this weekend.  My lighthouse scene is a inked background with a Light House by Daily Bread, the sea shell is by Momenta.  Lighthouse are so serene and beautiful.  Just a short post today, hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

I made this card for a dear friends birthday, the card is actually red, not sure why it looks pinkish here. Background is  distress inks misted with water.  I've been having fun playing with stencils and  embossing paste, I made similar cards for the work birthdays this month and will post those soon.

I had some new twine I wanted to play with and my fairly new Zig Kuretake markers so I pulled out my Hero Arts Newprint Tulips, colored them, spritzed, stamped on glossy cardstock and got the image above with the close-up below.  I colored some swirls for the background and also colored the edges of cardstock for my layers to get a perfect color match.  A few purple sequins from my stash and I was done. I hope you will have some fun and join us this month.
