The House That Stamps Built-Previous Card

Wendy gave us the option this month for our POTW - to post a previous
card that we had made. I decided it would be fun to go back to my
first post with Repeat Impressions.

It was January 4 of 2017, my how the time flies when you are having fun!

I inked up 2719-K Large Pine Tree numerous times with Tim Holtz pine needles Distress Ink and did some 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation stamping.  I added embossing ink with my Versamark pen and added white embossing powder to the trees and a die cut deer.  After stamping 8606-E Happy Birthday with the same ink, I did some die cutting and dry embossing and this is the card I came up with. It seems I made the same card making resolution that year as I do every year - to make more masculine cards!

Thanks for looking at my repeat card!

Repeat Impressions: Wet or Dry Embossing

It's Wednesday, challenge day at  The House That Stamps Built!
This week Wendy challenges us to use Wet and/or Dry embossing on
our card.

I went with both.  I dry embossed a white layer.  I wet  embossed Repeat
Impressions Crocuses in gold embossing powder and colored with
Copics.  After creating a window I added Happy Birthday to the
inside of the card. A few Pearlies and my dear daughter in laws
birthday card is ready to go!

Card slightly open:

Repeat Impressions: Anything with Birds or Bees

It's Wednesday, so challenge day at The House That Stamps Built, Wendy is
challenging us to create with a theme of birds or bees this week.

I immediately thought of Happy Bees, using just the bee part of the darling
scene and the "Bee"cause sentiment.  I've used this fun design before, I find
it attractive and it is very simple.  My just because stamped fuzzy so I embellished
by restamping and die cutting my sentiment out to cover it up, no mistakes in
in card making, just chances to embellish.  The little bee was in my stash.

Twofer

It's time for Darnell's Twofer challenge and a few other fun challenges! I decided to take
this Unity cupcake stamp and make a feminine and masculine card using the same
basic idea with a handmade background and a vellum layer.

On the first card I used a Designer Stencil-Butterfly Flutter for my background.
On the second I smooshed Distress Oxide inks before die cutting. I also
used a Sakura Jelly Roll pen for gold accents on both, and sponged Distress
Oxides on the background of the second card.

The House That Stamps Built: Sew Special

The theme this week at The House That Stamps Built is Sew Special, a sewing
theme, faux stitching ...

I immediately thought of this darling quilt stamp and sentiment that I
had yet to ink up:

I went through my box of of backgrounds and picked one that I
thought would look good on a quilt.  I then stamped it with
my go to Versa Clair black ink and embossed it in clear.  I then
stamped the sentiment.  I die cut with a stitched die and
added some ribbon to finish off the card.

Repeat Impressions: All About Moms

You guessed it, today's challenge at The House That Stamps Built is All
About Mom's:  Mothers Day, New Moms, any interpretation you would
like.

I went with Mother's Day:

I started with my papers and then stamped Vase of Tulips and colored with
Copics in colors to match.  My card stock is scored in half and then the front
is folded back (see picture below).   I cut two matching scalloped ovals, on
the front I did some stenciling to add interest and on the inside I added a
sentiment Happy moments. I added a little butterfly gem and some pearls
from my stash.

This view shows the Wink of Stella on the flowers:

Wishing you a Happy Mothers Day, you still have a few days to make
a card or share one you have already made in our
