Sharing more of my Christmas cards.  I enjoyed using this Penny Black

Immense Joy die, every card was different.  I used previous years

Christmas cards for many of the centers, dies for some.  I also

went for my fancy shimmery papers instead of saving them

for a special occasion.

Dies/Anything Goes at Allsorts

  I am excited to be joining the Allsorts Design Team.  The challenge today

was picked by Sarah.  You can follow the theme of dies, or choose

anything goes.

  I choose to use Penny Black's Immense Joy die cut out of

a shimmery scrap I had, and the cute little penguin, Sizziz Cozy Penguin also

 die cut, also out of snippets.  The card stock already had shimmer and 

strands in it.  I did add a few Pixie Pebbles by Pawsitively Pawsome

Designs.

Spellbinders Advent Calendar

 

I am having so much fun creating with the 2024

Spellbinders Advent calendar.  It is filled with dies,

sentiments, stamps, sequins and all are fabulous (yes I

opened them all right away)  In the above image I

used Day 8-vase and flower dies,  Day 4 sentiment,

Day 5, the fabulous squiggle embellishment and the

orangish strip is embossed with Day 15 bookmark size

embossing die.  White oval is from Quick Cutz and

papers are from my stash.

Candy Tins

 

 

 

 

 I decorated these Hershey Nuggets and Peanut Butter Cups and the tin for some

friends.  Tuesday, the 10th is my mom's first heavenly birthday and her and

I always went shopping and out to lunch on her birthday.  Some mutual

friends and I are continuing the tradition on mom's birthday. I thought this 

would be a nice little Christmas gift for them. Tags were in a pack

of patterned paper and paper is retired from The Angel Company.

Teachers Christmas

 

This is a catch up post on some things I have been making.  I make

cards and gift tags for the grand kids teachers.   This year 8 were needed

as their preschool has a lot of fabulous teachers.  No two are alike. The penguin

tags are made from an old Angel Company set Perky Penguins, the

scarfs are paper pieced and fussy cut, and glitter glue on the scarf and pom pom.

 I have posted one of the hot cocoa

prior but I changed up the pattern for these, such a great stamp set

by Momenta that I got on clearance a couple years ago.  I hope you

are enjoying your Christmas crafting as much as I am!

Thinking of you

 

I had several backgrounds similar to this one and decided to use them.  The 

turtles were already colored  (except the flower) and the sentiments in my sentiment 

binder.  I embossed the background, die cut the circles and the

green piece behind the sentiment and was ready to assemble.  My snippets

were, the white for the sentiment and behind the turtle, and the

embossed background as it had been around for

quite while.  It'salways nice to have a few any occasion card to send out.

 Playing around with Christmas cards for the grand kids teachers, this is one of my

cards today.  I used up a lot of snippets for this one and a die cut set that

has been in my stash for awhile from Momenta that I got on

clearance at Hobby Lobby years ago.   My one granddaughter likes

to make cards when she comes over and my grandson played at my

table with me on their last visit. So much fun!

Fall Swap Cards

 

 

 

I got my fall swap cards yesterday and could not be happier, thought I

would share with you.

Fall Card Swap

 

I recently participated in a fall card swap. I made an easel card. 

Colored with Copics.  Stamp set: Hello Harvest, never been

inked before and about a year old.  I am trying to use items

that have not been used yet and making several cards with

them.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone cards.

Fun Fold Inside

 

 

Open: 

Two of the grand kids are celebrating their birthdays together so I made 

cards using clip art of their favorite characters.  Minions and Actonots,

I used free clip art from online. Die cuts used on the Minions,

Scan N Cut for the Actonots. Die cuts used for numbers and

round base.

 

I like this cute fun fold inside so used it for both of them.  You cut

a 6" square of white card stock, score in half each direction and also

once diagonally. Fold and scor well.  Patterned paper is a2 3 3/4" squares

cut in half diagonally.  Notches made with an envelope board.  Aren't 

these cute?

Fun Fold Birthday Card

 

 

I made this Double Decker Pop out card for a friends birthday.  It was not

difficult, you just had to think a bit.  I used a Beautifully Happy set 

from Stampin Up, I've had it and this was my first time using it, I don't

do real well with stamping the color on the image but I am happy

with how it turned out. Papers are Magnolia Lane, it is hard to 

tell but the striped panels are embossed with a linen

embossing folder.
