Stand Up Splatter Card

I saw this card base on Pintrest and it was so easy to duplicate. You just
cut your base die cut twice and score one in the middle and glue it (I  used
extra adhesive to be sure it was well secured) on the bottom of your
card base. I used Xcut Rectangle parenthesis Nesting Dies.
The sweet image is a digi from Meljen Designs "Little
Pocket Puppy" and I used a sponge I've had in my stash forever to
splatter ink on the white cardstock.  Added a button and twine for
a little dimension (and to cover a smudge- opportunity to embellish).
Also used my Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the pocket stitching
and the swirls around the puppy.

Great colors to go with the denim-ish pocket and the dog inside. I like it. Good tip on how to use your dies to create this type of folded card. Thank you for joining ScrapbookerPhD's Die Cut challenge.

The inked background looks great, and I do like the shape of your card. I'm amazed about how easy it is to do different shapes and designs when reading other peoples tutorials and tips. Most of the time it's far easier than I would have imagined...
