The House That Stamps Built:Tic-Tac-Toe

No automatic alt text available.

Time for  a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge at The House That Stamps Built this week. I
find this challenging as I go outside my comfort zone but I am always happy
with the results.  I used the challenge this month to make my sons
birthday card:

I started with my image and used Distress Oxide inks for the background
(with water splatters)  and Copic markers for the image.  I added the Washi
tape to complete the middle row: Birthday-Stitching--Washi Tape and was
happy with the look the Washi tape added!

I hope you will join in the challenge.  Remember, your creation doesn’t have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if it is, you will get an additional entry in the drawing for a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate this month!

For inspiration check out  what the other Rock Stars have created:

Beautiful card, Donna! Your Distress Oxide inking is gorgeous! A very serene card - it looks so relaxing there in that hammock!

Aren't oxides so much fun to create backgrounds with? Love your great birthday card - I'd be happy to take a break in the hammock!

Love your interpretation of the Tic-Tac-Toe requirements. That washi tape looks splendid with the rest of your card elements. Great work on the sponged scene and water spots. Love the trees & hammock - adding the flight of birds was a nice little detail too. I really like how you've done the placement of the elements as well. It's a lovely card, and you've met this challenge very well, I think. Happy Mom's Day, TFS & Hugs
