Golden Butterflies

I came across these aqua/gold scraps a few weeks ago and wanted to create
with them.  I found come gold and vellum snippets to go with them.

I wanted each of them to be unique so browsed my die cuts and picked
out a few.  Did some layering and splattered metallic gold and aqua
paints on them. A few embellishments and I was happy with
my butterfly cards.  I've already mailed several as thank you's
for food and kindness given to me while recuperating from my
hip replacement surgery.    Thank you to my friends/followers
for their good wishes.  I am doing well and have my 3 week
checkup next week.

A few fun challenges:
First card:
NBUS #60  -Die on left side of card   4/1
The Paper Funday -option die cuts  March 4/2

These golden designs are so elegant and beautiful, Donna! And an excellent use of your schtuff! I wish you well with your continued recovery from hip replacement surgery. I had it done a couple of years ago and it still amazes me! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

Wow! These are all so gorgeous with that gold and those dies are so delicate looking! I always have a hard time parting with those specialty papers, but then I see how pretty they are on your cards...love them all!

wow, Donna! These are gorgeous! Are the sentiment panels also on gold (or specialty) cardstock? If so, what ink did you use to stamp the sentiment? Glad you used that NBUS die - it's beautiful! Your recipients will be delighted! Lovely way of using your pretty papers. huggers, de
