I wanted to join in celebrating Mrs. A's 100th Butterfly Challenge, how exciting
is this. I spun the wheel and went with Harvest Gold, Heat
embossing and of course a butterfly.
My sister-in-law took an early retirement and went back to school and just
graduated with an art degree. This card is for her. I used Altenew's
Beautiful Day set, a Crafters Companion die for the leaves, a butterfly
punch in my stash, and an embossing folder by the Paper Studio.
The flowers are stamped in a combination of Distress Oxides and Distress Inks
as it is a 4 step stamp and I did not have enough colors in one type, I like the
resulting color. The cardstock I used for the butterfly was colored
with Distress Oxide inks.

Oh, Donna, this is such a beautiful card! I love those flowers! Congrats to your SIL!
Gorgeous card and colours Donna..loz
Kudos to your SIL for going back to school to do something that she must have wanted to do so much. That took courage to leave a job and pursue another avenue as she's done. Love how you've used one of my fav Altenew sets. Your layered stamping turned out beautifully (and how cool you were able to join in the Butterfly challenge. It's been a while since I was able to join in). Love the vivid yellow shades of this gorgeous card too. TFS & Hugs
