Christmas catch up

 Sharing a few more Christmas cards:

 

Made with a very old stamp from the Angel Company.
 

 Made with a new set bought from a large stamping garage sale, oh you

should see all I got for great prices!  This set is buried on my desk, I will

try to find the name.  The With Love at Christmas is a Taylored Expressions

sentiment strip. 

 

 This card and other versions of it were my main card, made from

my mom's papers she was going to use last year and a Cottage Cutz Nativity

Noel I inherited from her.

Create a Scene

This is one of two posts today.  

 

 Allsorts last challenge of 2025 is starting and will run until

December 31.  Hosted by Lynn, the theme is: Create a Scene,

anything goes is always accepted too.

 

I went with a arch shaped card and used Lavinia stamps:

Flower Mini, Leaf 1 Mini and Flutterby Mini.  Dies are

Spellbinders Perfect Touch Arches and Tags.

Christmas Gift Tags

 This is one of two posts today:

I made tags for Christmas this year using the new Spellbinders

Postage Stamps cutting dies and 3D embossing folder.  I had 

planned to stamp my images but these cute tags came in the

mail and they were the perfect size!  Ribbons by Really

Reasonable Ribbons, unfortunately I just found out they

are closing-sale going on now.

Let's Get Sentimental

 Time for a new challenge at Allsorts, this challenge is Let's Get Sentimental,

sentiment as your focal point or anything goes. 

 

I

 I found this background sitting in a pile on my craft table and

thought it would be perfect for a focal sentiment.  The background stamp 

is from former Repeat Impressions and the hello die from Pinkfresh

Studio's.  A few gems (a favorite way to embellish as they add

a little something extra) and this card was done in a flash.

Christmas Cards

 Time for another bi-weekly challenge at  Allsorts. Christine has chose

Christmas cards for our theme, anything goes is always an option too.

 I was in the mood for a fun fold, not sure what the name of this fold is, 

I found the pattern by Lynn Dunn on Pintrest. 

 

 

 

 

I pulled out papers I inherited from my mom, (almost all my

Christmas cards this year will be with mom's supplies in her 

memory.)  The Gleaming Bells die is by Memory Box, sentiment and

Papers are Stampin Up.  Front white panel is embossed with Stampin

Up linen embossing folder and then spritz with gold glitter spray.

Time to be starting on Christmas card. I started with cards for the

grandchildren.  This one used a lot of snippets:

I used set by Momenta, it does not have a name on it but contains

 all the pieces above.  Merry Christmas is from an older Angel Company

set. Ar Perfect Arches and Tags die by Spellbinders.

Autumn

 Hello! A new challenge has started at Allsorts with the theme of

Autumn Colors or Anything Goes.

 

 

I went with a fall themed fun fold, some pretty fall patterned

paper and a simple sentiment from Stampin Up and some gems.

Traditional Christmas Colors

 Time to be starting on those Christmas cards if you haven't yet. Allsorts

Challenge for two weeks is traditional Christmas colors to get you

going, also ATG's is always an option. 

 

 My card:

 

I started with a Sizziz poinsettia embossing folder, I swiped the

poinsettia's with a white pigment ink and then embossed with

a Stampendous PearLuster embossing powder. I then die

cut a Momenta Merry Christmas die set out and layered it, adding

a few gems to the poinsettia center.  This was a set I got

years ago on clearance at Hobby Lobby, nice to finally use it!

Woodland Critters

 

 

Time for another fun challenge at Allsorts, Sarah has chosen 

woodland critters or anything goes. I used Stampin Up Wildlife Wonder 

set for my image and sentiment, I am always in need of  masculine

cards.  The green background card stock was embossed with a Tim

Holtz 3D embossing folder and then I swiped white pigment over

it for added depth.  I layered some woody looking patterned

paper and added a few gems.

Time for a new bi-weekly challenge at Allsorts.  Val has chosen Trees/leaves/plants, 

or you can enter anything goes.  I was in the mood to color on kraft paper with my

Polychromal pencils.  I had a lot of fun coloring this image from Unity 

stamps: Hello Succulents.  I've used the words from this set before but not 

this image.I kept the card simple using just a few layers using StampIn

Ups faux stitching dies.

Birthday

  Challenge time at Allsorts and it was my turn to pick, I went with birthday,

anything goes is also always an option.  I decided to focus on masculine

birthday cards so you might want to grab a drink! 

 

 I started with a new Happy Birthday die, as I buy new items I am

trying to use them several times the first time I break them in.  I added

some cute critters on the first two and kept the second two clean and simple.

Begining with a "B"

 Time for a new challenge at Allsorts.  This month the theme is

beginning with a "B" or anything goes, chosen by Ellie. 

 

  I went with butterflies.  I started by making a shaker card, patterned paper

behind the sequins is dry embossed, I die cut a window from patterned paper and

layered it  on top to form a window.  I topped it with die cuts (listed below), swirl 

and birthday greeting but from snippets.
