Allsorts 17th Birthday

Allsorts challenge blog is celebrating their 17th birthday!  Lots of
prizes this fortnight if you would like to join us at Allsorts!

Lots of embossing folder techniques on You tube  lately and  I had to try
this one. I used different embossing folders and colors and
came up with two very different looks.

Choose any embossing folder from your stash and emboss on
kraft card stock.  Gently swipe white pigment ink over the
raised areas.  Next ink the flat side of your embossing
folder with your Distress Oxide color of choice and emboss
again in the same position in the embossing folder.  Repeat
2-4 times until you get the look desired. I went with heavier color
on the flower one.  You may need to swipe with white
pigment ink again.  Create card as desired.

First card back:

Your embossing folder technique looks incredible on kraft, and I enjoy how the soft white pigment ink brings out the raised details while the Distress Oxide layers add such rich depth, giving your floral design a bold, vibrant look and your birthday card a completely different mood, and the way you finished each piece with thoughtful die cuts and clean layouts creates two striking results that show just how versatile this method can be.

You’re showing us some great technique examples for embossing. The first card turned out feminine and elegant whereas the second is to me more gender neutral. I love cards that can be used for whoever. Great look with white and colors and Kraft.
