Amelia

Amelia is one of the sweet designs of Maybelle RO, I could not resist
pulling out one of her creations to play with when I got my Inktense
pencils for my birthday.  What fun to play with!  I was happy with
how they colored.  I used Inktense on the dress, bow, flower, and leaves,
I used Copics on the rest. Then I cut Amelia out and popped her
up on a white die cut.   Pattern paper is by Jillbean  Soup.

Thinking of You

I made this card up in a few colors but like the black  best,
it is the most striking to me.  I used a Quick Kutz
nesting lace oval die cut, Hero Arts/Sizziz Framelits
stamp and die cut, and a Morning Star stamp for the lace
line.  It is hard to tell by the picture but I dry embossed
above the lace embossing. This card was inspired by a
Gina K tutorial.

Valentine's

Here are a few of the Valentines I sent out this year. Valentines Day is
such fun.  My husband spoils me, since it is also my birthday so he does
not want me to feel slighted.  We are going to my favorite restaurant for
lunch and are just going to have fun all day!  I have a few surprises for
him too!  Enjoy your day!

Carlie

I'm back with another one of the Cuddlebug Cuties,
I am trying to improve on hair and faces, I'm okay on faces
but have not mastered hair. I need to print several and
just color everyday, good excuse, coloring is such fun!
If you look close you can see the sparkles in my background
paper DCWV, Nana's Kids, Cardstock is Amuse.  I also added
added a pearl embellishment from my stash and used my Sakura
pen to make it into a necklace for additional sparkle!
Does anyone have a good color combo for Asian hair and skin,
I would appreciate if you could share that with me?

Sweetheart

One of my favorite things about challenges is that you
discover new stamping companies by the sponsors.  This
is Annabelle by Milk Coffee the sponsor for Sketch Saturday
this week.  I think she is adorable and perfect for my
granddaughter.  I colored her with copics, used my nesting
eyelet nesting square die cuts, and yes another new 6x6
paper pack from Archivers, Authentique:  Smitten. The
Sweetheart sticker is also from the paper pack, I just
added some sponging around the edge.  I went back
to Archivers this w/e, the store is close to empty.
Also check out Scrappers Delight, the adorable sponsor
over at MIM this week and Oak Pond Creations at Crafting
by Designs.

Lighthouse Easel

Today is my dear husbands birthday so that called for  a
special card.  He likes all things nautical so I pulled out
this Stampin Up set I have had forever, and of course had
to buy a new 6x6 paper pack Down by the Shore by
fancypantsdesigns at Archivers! Enclosed was a
coupon for a hot air balloon ride that covers both
of our birthdays (mine is in a few weeks). He was happy!

Breezy Day

This is  a line of digi stamps I had not seen before,
Cuddlebug Cuties.  This is Bree.  Not my usual
style which is what attracted me to them.  You
just get in the mood to change things up. The paper is
jillibean soup-Grandma Lima Bean Soup.  I went
shopping with my mom at Archivers last week, one
last time before they close (although they went to
40% off today!) and bought some paper pads, (this was
one of them) and one stamp set.  Stamps are the only
thing that they had much of left. Sad that so many
stamping stores and companies are going under.
