This sweet image is from Digi Gardens - Ursula's Candy Cane. I paper pieced the green on her jacket and hat, colored the reds with my atyouSpica pens, and used Copics on the rest of her. Ribbons and paper from my stash. I thought she made a cute tag.

Christmas Ornaments Card
A friend of mine designed this card, and it was one of our projects at a girls stamping night. I finally parted with it this year so had to have a picture and thought I would share. We all bring projects and the results are amazing. I really liked the dimension and colors of this card. All stamps and papers are by Stampin Up.

Chrismas Tree CAS
I made this card at Archivers. Talk about CAS. You use a triangle punch for the tree's and patterned paper, ribbon for your tree trunk, emboss the saying and stars and you're done! Talk about fast and cute! The class was 3 each of 4 different cards, great way to build the pile for Christmas and individualize cards to the recipient. We also went home with the 6x6 pad of Christmas paper we used on some of the cards. One of them has given me an idea for my main card for next year using a new saying stamp I bought this year and did not use, maybe I'll actually start on them in January ! Please don't hold your breath but at least I have an idea, that is the hard part, the card making is fun and relaxing!

Christmas Window Card
This is my main Christmas card this year. The Church stamp by Our Daily Bread is embossed in Winter Ice. The window and curtain die cut is also by Our Daily Bread. I've made a few cards during the year, have some cards from classes I've taken, and cards I've saved over the years that I've made so they are going in the mail this year, time to clear out the stash. I'll be posting some of those this week, so stay tuned. Enjoy your Christmas preparations!

I'm So Sorry
This cutie is I'm So Sorry by My Favorite Things. I picked her up at a little stamping store in Kimmswick, MO. Isn't she just the sweetest! Papers by Amuse and Laura Ashley. Copics: E00,E02, R20,E33,E55,YR24,Y13,Y17,G82,G94, V01,V12,V15,and C3. I used my atyouSpica and the shoes but the sparkle does not show up in my pictures. She came with two saying: "I'm So Very Sorry" and "With All My Love". I sent her to my "chemo lady" so neither saying quite fit so I stamped another saying on the inside.
I appreciate your stopping by to see my creations and appreciate your comments!

Masculine Happy Birthday
I have a friend coming over to visit and do some stamping Friday so need to come up with some cards to make. This one uses paper from the pad Rustic Chic from Red Rubber Designs (formerly The Angel Company). I still have a couple pads of it as it was my favorite! Happy Birthday stamp is Heartfelt Creations. Brown paper from Archivers. This would be a great way to use up scraps! I think my scalloped strip needs something to make it pop so I may be redoing the picture when an idea pops into my head. A flower, gems?? We shall see.

Halloween
Happy Halloween all! This is the card I sent out this year. The basket is CC Rubber Stamps, pumpkins are by K*I Memories, and the saying by Hero Arts. I sent these out on Friday and forgot to take a picture, thanks Shirley for scanning yours and sending it to me! Enjoy the day!

Cattail Pond
This is my favorite scenery digital from Doodle Pantry, I colored it with a mix of KOH-I-NOOR pencils for the small areas and Copics. The window and curtains are a Spellbinders from Our Daily Bread that I could not pass up at the Collinsville Convention this past summer, my Christmas card is planned around it but of course I could not wait until then to use this die cut!
I am entering it in the monthly Doodle Pantry Challenge DPDC 28, lots of amazing designs.

A Boy and His Frog
This Digital Image is from The Digi Garden and I placed him on a Zig Zag Accordian card, pattern from Technique Junkie's Fancy Folds CD. Pumpkin is k&i Memories. How do you like his overalls? I used a piece of burlap with Copic Blender fluid to get the burlapy look, I need to experiment with it more, not exactly what I wanted but fun. Denim material is great for the blue jean look. I have more Halloween cards to show later. I enter this cutie in:

Triple Time Stamp Technique - Girl's Day

Two Step Stamping - Girl's Day
This is Pat's card, or Patti J. as you may know her. This is a great technique - Pat does it have a name? I made this name up. You stamp with the wrong side of a clear stamp - yes the wrong side, for a solid image. Then you turn the clear stamp over to the right side and stamp in black and it just pops!! What a dynamic card! Quick and easy too. Okay now we have the real technique name: Two Step Stamping. I just love learning new techniques, you can do so much with them.

Copic's on Embossing - Girl's Day
This was my mom's card. We stamped in white pigment ink, embossed with white embossing powder and then colored with Copic Markers. What a fun technique. My Mom will be 83 in December and is an awesome stamper (and Mom)!! Thanks for hosting our stamping day at your house mom!

Zig Zag Accordian Card - Girls Stamping Day
Monday was girls day out. My mom, our friends Shirley and Pat, and I each brought a project to my mom's house who lives in the middle and made the cards, chatted, had lunch and just had a wonderful girls day. This was my project, a zig zag accordian card, a pattern I got from Technique Junkie's Fancy Folds and Motion Pater Craft CD. Everyone's project was fabulous. I will post all of them over the next few days!

DPDC27
This little bird is precolored by Doodle Pantry. Their precolored images make a quick and easy card. Of course I enjoy coloring there regular images too, very relaxing but occasionally a quick easy card is needed or you just want a quickly completed project for that nice feeling.

I entered her in the Digi Garden Challenge 2.

Just Saying Hello
This is one of my December (yes December) birthday cards for work. We have several birthdays at work in December and 5x7 cards are a bit more challenging so I try to make the December ones early. Stamps by Amuse. I'll post another one soon.

Masculine Card
I made this card awhile back but it is one of my favorites. My husband has been playing a lot of golf so I'm sure it will be going to him. I used an Angel Co. golf set (not sure if this one mad Red Rubber Designs) and some Stampscapes. I used stipple brushes for all the colors and used torn paper to create the hills. This could be adapted for any scenery or really any type of card.

DPDC26 - Hank's Birthday Card
I made this card with a Doodle Pantry digital image for a first birthday party that we went to yesterday. He likes dinosaurs so I thought this image was perfect. I made a scrapbook for birth to adulthood for part of his present (of course there had to be a toy.) If you scroll down you can see the scrapbook in my previous post.

Girl with Flowers
I bought a paper pack not in my usual colors to challenge myself to use different colors. The background papers are a pack from DCWV the Cafe Mediterranean and the cardstock is Amuse and I scored above the patterned paper every 1/4". The stamp is from http://bodilsscrappeverden.blogspot.com/, I found it online as a free digi and thought she was cute as could be. I used Copics E00, E02, R20, BG10, BF72, BG75, C3, C5, C7, Y17, Y15, R22, E35, B000, B93, G24 and YG03.

Evening of Stamping
My good friend stopped for a visit and we spend the afternoon/evening shopping, stamping talking before she left this morning to spend the day today with her son. These are the projects she brought to make. You can see them on Shirley's blog: http://glitteredpaws.blogspot.com/ and also on our friend
Patti's blog: http://cherisheachpreciousday.blogspot.com// I think the original ideas were from Pintrest. Also if you scroll down on my blog we made the Fathers Day card as a birthday card and the Hampton Arts card 3 ways in other colors, I'm sure Shirley will post those. Fun visit and lots of cards ready to go.

Doodle Pantry DC 25 CAS
This is Doodle Pantry's Plush Panda Color Plus and the background paper that comes with it. Isn't he adorable? And so quick and easy since it is precolored, I just cut it out, matted added scalloped edges and it's ready to send, could not be more CAS!

Happy Fourth of July
Happy Fourth of July to all and Happy Birthday Dad! For this card I used my new Nestabilities Big Scalloped Circles Large, Fireworks by Inkadinkadoo, saying by Hero Arts. Can you guess what the metal embellishment is on the ribbon? A simple soda tab! I thought it worked out well. Enjoy your day, the barbeque with family and friends and the fireworks!

A Year of Flowers Fourth of July Card
I used Gina K's A Year of Flower's set to make this nontraditional Fourth of July gate fold card. What a fun versatile set this is. I also bought the book A Year of Flowers, lots of great ideas that you will be seeing as I try them out. They have a technique for every month, the rose card I posted a few posts back with the sponged circle behind it was from this book. I am sending this card to a chemo patient that I am a card angel for. Let me know what you think of the nontraditional card. I will post my more traditional card on the fourth (I can't let people see it before I send it to them!)

DPDC24
I thought this precolored frog from Doodle Pantry was adorable. I felt a little guilty using a precolored image at first until I made the card , this card was so quick and easy to make, about 5 minutes start to finish. We all need a few of those!

Hampton Art Stamp 3 Ways
I got this Hampton Arts set a Michael's, only $2.99 before my coupon! I knew I would be able to use it numerous ways and for many occasions. These are the first three cards I made with it. All so different. No greetings on the outside so they can be birthday, get well, anniversary, thinking of you, even a wedding for the pink one if I were to add some lace! I will get a lot of use out of this stamp! I really like the butterflies on the blue card, those are a die cut from Amuse, first time I used those-they will be used a lot! Have a good week and I hope you have some time for stamping!
