Working on the Co-worker February cards as I have several to make. I have missed several of my favorite challenges lately with the holidays so I wanted to play along with several them today as I made a birthday card this weekend. I am making all shaker cards for this month. I started out with an item from my NBUS pile an ARTplorations stencil Shower of Flutters with some aqua ink, look closely and you can see the butterflies, and matched it up with some aqua Amuse cardstock, made a shaker with an old Angel Co. stamp set and Amuse sequins (like how small they are), and designed it to Sketch Saturday.
Here is a close up of the shaker and the cute sequins:
The fun challenges I planned my design for:
Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge #46 Butterflies + I is for Inks
STAMPlorations Never-ending Anything Goes Challenge
Sketch Saturday: Sketch #395

Very pretty, very much like the way you've placed the butterfly picture inside this shaker. It looks so nice with the combination of papers you've used as the background. One of these days I'll get brave enough to try a shaker. Bought the fuse tool to try it, still a NBUS. Good for you on getting a NBUS to work on this card. TFS & Hugs

Amazing job with your shaker card - looks like you have it mastered.
Beautiful card! Very partial to butterflies. I still have that stamp set too, and love it. Great job with the shaker card.

Fun little shaker - great use of the Sketch Saturday design. Thanks for sharing.
Really like your shaker card. Love the soft colors and the
butterflies. Haven't made a shaker card in years and don't
know if I remember how. Probably a better way now. Mom
Wow what a beautiful shaker card this is. You wouldn't want to drop those little sequins on the floor!!Lol. love the pretty colour. Thankyou for fluttering by my inky challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
Love this shaker card! Awesome job on it.
I don't know how I missed this, Donna, but I just saw you were one of the favourites over at the Butterfly Challenge and I had to come see. I don't remember seeing this the first time, and I guess I didn't because there is no comment from me. It's beautiful and well deserved of the top pick award! And you know I am crazy about shaker cards! I love everything about this! Well done!
