There are several challenges out there to use leftover's to create a card. I recently bought the container on the right below and organizer my leftovers that I really liked and on the left is cards, die cuts etc that I want to use up so this is where I headed.
Everything you see on the card except the gemstones came from these two containers. The card front was already scored, the frame was from a die cut from Impression Obsession that cuts out about 8 frames at one time so no waste to your cardstock so I keep the leftovers. The die cut flowers (from vellum) was on loan from a friend for an evening so I cut out a bunch of those. Thanks Patti! The embossed butterfly was leftover from when duct tape and embossing was the rage. A close up is below, it is actually silver but the gems give it a pinkish glow with photographing.
This card did not even take 10 minutes! I think I will play with my leftovers a bit more, this was so much fun.

This is too funny - I was "sorting" through some of my STUFF - looking for something else and ran across some dies we had cut and this was one of them - your card is very pretty - delicate and elegant. That clor vellum is perfect.
Beautiful card Donna. I love the idea of using up your leftovers. Your red Vellum flowers are gorgeous.

A really lovely card Donna and really well done using up your stuff. I'm still on a mission to use stuff up but sadly not as organised as you. I really like your butterfly. What a great idea. Thanks for joining in the Butterfly Challenge. Barbxx GDT
It is certainly amazing what you can pull together from off cuts and snippets. This is lovely. Especially like the duct tape butterfly. Thankyou for fluttering by my challenge where your card will be entered twice. Hugs Mrs A.
Very pretty card. You did a great job putting leftovers
together to make such a pretty card. Mom
How organized you are! My left overs are in a big box (boots size) and I have to dig around to find items. But even when I've got everything cut and ready I'm not able to do it in 10 minutes, I always spend a lot of time moving the pieces around. Your 10 minute card is as beautiful as a more time consuming one...
What a fabulous idea and I've told myself that I would do this so many times and never seem to get it done! LOL!! Really gorgeous design you've made here! :) HUGS
Your card is gorgeous Donna, I love the red vellum flowers! What a fabulous storage idea, I need to buy a few more containers and REALLY get organized like you!
Hugs, Tammy
Beautiful!! You definitely have a bit stash of "stuff" to use up, but after this card, you must have put a good dent in it. : ) Love that butterfly; the embossing is a fabulous touch. Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built (sorry I'm so late in commenting).
