Laurie's choice this week at The House That Stamps Built: we have
the fun theme of "Tag You're It" anything having to do with a tag!
I started by smooshing Distress Oxides on a tag, used a stencil with
water to remove some areas and splattered water. Repeat Impression
Random Dots and Birthday Vertical. Card base is embossed with
Tim Holtz Gridlock texture fade embossing folded, gold embossing
is Random Dots.
Join our weekly challenge, you might just
be the lucky winner of the monthly drawing for the
$25 Repeat Impression's gift certificate. you don't have to use
Repeat Impression stamps but an extra chance if you do.
Drawing is the first Wednesday every month.

Wow Donna, your background looks stunning with your ink smooshing! Love the colors you've chosen with it and the butterflies fit beautifully over the smooshed tag too! Love how you've placed it on your card! Love making tags and hope to play along with you all! :)
Your card is a WINNER!! Beautiful colors and design. I plan to CAS it. Thanks.

Beautiful tag card and colours Donna..loz
Ink Smooshing is on my list of techniques I want to try - love the colors you used on your inky background and then I saw the butterflies - love the butterflies - then I saw the embossed card - and then the Happy Birthday - great tag on a card.
This tag is incredible and done so beautifully! I love the colors and vertical sentiment and you've used it to make a beautiful card!
Love your background that you created on this tag, Donna. Beautiful.
This is so beautiful!!! Love both backgrounds; on the tag AND the embossing! The gold on the background looks really cool!
This is gorgeous! I love the tag and your dark blue and gold textured background compliments it beautifully.
I really love those pastel colours behind the butterfly.
I love the ink smooshed background on your pretty tag, and the way you stamped the butterflies off the edge!
I really should get into sploosing mode. Really no excuse as the weather outside means
I can do it and not worry About the mess. This is lovely. Love the soft colours. Thankyou for comingg and spinning the butterfly wheel with me. Hugs Mrs A.
Such a gorgeous tag on your card! Love how you made the background on the tag! Beautiful colours!
What a fantastic tag! I love the embossed background. I've always enjoyed embossing, but have found that I've been drawn to working with it all the more in the past few months. It's fantastic to see examples like this terrific project as they really do provide so much welcome inspiration.
