Fluttering by with thank you wishes

 

I got quite a bargin at Hobby Lobby the other day ago,  I found a clearance

sale on dies, stamps etc,  I bought 10 dies sets, stamp/die sets, and stamp 

sets and spent $33 dollars -yes $33 dollars.  The Momenta stamp above was

$1.99 and I had to buy it for Mrs. A's Butterfly challenge, and because I liked it!

 

I embossed it using  black Versaclair ink and clear embossing powder.  I colored

it with Copics.  I added some Wink of Stella,  gold Sakura gel pen and white

gelly roll-these show up more in real life.  Heartfelt Thanks is a sentiment/die

set by Spellbinders.

My mom's neighbor has been very good to them and I wanted to make a card to let 

her know how much we all appreciate her.  She has several beautiful

gardens so I thought this image was perfect for her.

JDS-Traces of Spring

   Can you believe it is already almost the end of February and mid month

for Jan's Digital Stamp Challenge!

This is Jan's other new digi set this month, Traces of Spring.  I 

colored this up with Copics,  added an ombre patterned paper,

die cut my image and some cute little butterflies, added coordinating 

patterned paper and that was it. Of course, Jan has a 

colored version and sentiments in the set also.

Embossed anniversary

 

I saw a challenge for using embossing folders and have seen video's on

inking your embossing folder and then embossing your card stock and

thought I would try this.  Well, mine did not turn out like in the video's.

I ended up smooshing a piece of card stock and then embossing it.  I added

a stamped Happy Anniversary,  punched some hearts in the corners,

added some layers and this is what I came up with.

I may find a use for these but most likely not.  If you have any tips for 

me feel free to share.

Heart Day

 A couple cards I sent out recently that are fitting for Valentine's Day today.

Both use Lawn Fawn's LoveYou Ton's cute little set and Heart stencil by

Pink & Main,  after I stencilled the first card, I spritzed the stencil

lightly with water and pressed it on another piece of card stock and

got the background on the second card.

Sympathy Card

 I sent this sweet little dog card (Impression Obsession) to a friend who recently

lost her dearly loved dog.  I used a heart stencil by Pink & Main and used

rainbow colors since he crossed the rainbow bridge.  I tried to focus on

the love he brought to their lives.

 

JDS-Spring Tiger Lilies

 Time for a new challenge at  Jan's Digi Stamps.

 

 

Jan has two new spring floral sets available!  I colored Spring Tiger Lillies

 with Copics  and then added highlights and shading with Faber-Castell pencils.

 Background strip of paper is Honey Bee Team Tie die attached prior to dry embossing. 

A couple die cuts and a bit of sparkle:

Valentine ATC's

 

 

 

I had some fun making Valentine ATC's for some special little ones,  it

has been quite awhile since I made ATC's and really enjoyed the process.

Animals from Your Next Stamp and Lawn Fawn, candy hearts are an

old set from Stampin Up, and heart dies are Pink & Main, Crafters

Square (Dollar Tree) and one I made from a die I had.  I have several 

other cards that I can not share yet as we had 12" of snow this week

in Missouri and the mailman has been here for 3 days to pick them

up from the mailbox.  Once they reach the recipients I will

share them.
