My turn to chose the theme at Allsorts challenge. I went with create your own
background, of course anything goes is always allowed too!
Creates stamp set Glide. Die is Tim Holtz die stacked deckle.
I positioned my stencil and pressed Gold Versa Color ink over all the
dots until I had good coverage, I then embossed it in gold. I also embossed
the stamp set. A little die cutting and layering and my card
was complete:

Lovely card, and great theme!
A great background idea Donna. Love how this turned out!
This really pops! The gold against the black is so striking!
A great theme choice and your card looks so good. Forgot all about stencil embossing - thanks for the reminder.
Gorgeous card Donna, beautiful way of creating a background.

Great choice of theme Donna, there are so many possibilities... Love you card, the colour scheme has great contrast. x
Love this elegant colour combo Donna, super stencilling. A lovely theme too, really got me inspired x
Lots of gorgeous embossing Donna, a beautiful card x
thank you for sharing this creation with us at Alphabet challenge
I love shiny gold on black! This is ticking all my boxes, Donna, and I love how you have done a frame in a frame! Thank you for your visit and lovely welcome back! Hugs, Darnell
Oh, wow!! What a gorgeous card! Love all the gold and the butterfly is so pretty! Wonderful polka dot background, too!
The gold embossing over the stenciled dots creates such a rich, luminous background, and it pairs beautifully with the embossed butterfly. The contrast against the black really elevates the whole design. Your layered deckle framing adds just the right amount of structure without taking attention away from that striking texture.
Absolutely gorgeous and so elegant. Love the dot stencil.
Very striking Donna! Thanks for sharing your Favourite Cardmaking Technique with us at Time Out, hope you'll join us again soon!
Hugs, Kate (DT Time Out)!
All that gold is gorgeous. Well done for the heat embossing using a stencil - I find that tricky.
