Embossing

Time for a new challenge at Allsorts, Val has chosen the fun theme of embossing,
heat or dry, anything goes is also accepted.

I went with dry embossing on Valentine cards:

I picked out masculine and feminine papers for this, did some dry embossing,
layering and added ink to the dry embossing on the first card to make the
hearts stand out more.

Supplies:
Embossing Folder: Darice Heart
Stamp-retired Close to my Heart
Heart dies: Elizabeth Craft Designs Scalloped Hearts
Patterned papers from my stash

Join us for the fun at Allsorts to see design team inspirations and a
chance to win:

Lisa Horton Rambling Woodgrain Rose embossing folder and coordinating stencils.

A few fun challenges for the first card-re/pink:
Can You Handle the Pressure  - Twist of die cuts  2/26
Just Us Girls #810 -Valentine 2/19

The Diva's That Cut Paper -red/pink  3/1

Two lovely Valentines card showcasing embossing Donna, the first probably my fav as do like tone on tone colour and think the second ideal for a man in particular.

The dry embossing really shines on both designs. The tone‑on‑tone hearts on the first card feel soft and elegant, and the added ink brings out the texture beautifully. The second card has a great balance of pattern and dimension, and the more neutral palette gives it a strong masculine feel. A lovely pair of Valentines with thoughtful details throughout.
