Come Sail Away

Sharing a card I made awhile back for my husbands birthday.  The sailboat is
an old set from Sizzizz, Simply Defined: Be Inspired, Moments. Patterned
papers are from Hackney & Co.: Sea & Shore. Colored with Copics.
Clouds stenciled with a Close to my Heart stencil. Brown/rust  strip
embossed with  StampinUp Subtle Dynamic Texture embossing folder
 and Sizziz oval die cuts.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend and finding some crafty time!

A few fun challenges:
A Cut Above- Die Cut  4/1
CYHTP-dry embossing ATG (sewing twist) 3/26

Wonderful card! The colors are great for this masculine card. Love the DP and sailboat theme. The oval layers make a great background for the image. Thanks for sharing with the March Challenge at A Cut Above.

Such a peaceful nautical design. The soft Copic coloring, stenciled clouds, and layered ovals give the sailboat a wonderful sense of movement, and the textured strip adds just the right touch of rugged detail for a masculine card. The coordinated Sea and Shore papers pull everything together beautifully.

The background DP is just perfect with your image and the burgundy framing with the navy sets it off wonderfully.
